Building your own PaaS with Chef and Mesos (Talk)

Apache Mesos is an open-source cluster manager used to efficiently isolate and distribute applications across a data centre. Although mostly used by companies with large teams and infrastructure, it provides a great base for building a private platform as a service (PaaS) with dynamic resource allocation. This may sound like a daunting task, but with a little help from Chef and a lot of open source code, you will learn where to look, what you need, why you need it, and how to build your own PaaS on your own infrastructure.
